Today was Nicole’s first day of school. For the first time ever she’s enrolled in an Ohio school district (one of their better ones), so she’s going to a whole new school.
The bus picks her up almost right in front of our door, which is an added cool bonus. I took a few pictures of her going to and coming from school today, which should appear below.

In a little less than a couple of weeks Nicole and I shall be taking our annual extended road trip. It that time when we head off to Ohio — her for part of the Summer and me for a short visit — and embark on a twelve hour drive.
For those of you wondering, we’ll be leaving on Friday, June 19th and I’ll be returning sometime around Thursday June 25th. Usually I only get to spend a couple or a few days but this year is a little different. Since I won’t be taking a return trip at the end of the Summer, I’ll be bunching all of my visiting days into one trip.
With that in mind, anyone that wants to see Nicole before she’s off for Ohio, please give me a call to visit before the 19th. Otherwise you’ll have to wait until after the first week of August to enjoy her glorious presence. As for me, I’ll have the entire month of July for you to pester me in your very own loving way. Please do.
