Just the other day we were at 1149 East in Seekonk, Massachusetts to celebrate the birthdays of Teresa Costa, Charlene Silvia and Victoria Costa — a mother (Tat) and two daughters (Char and Vicki). The dinner was very good and the service was great. Better than that, the company was fantastic.
I wish all three of you a very happy birthday and a great new year of life!

Nicole Drives Boston Buggy

Over the course of the past week Nicole and I have spent a pretty substantial amount of time in Boston. CJ had his surgery on Thursday and came back just yesterday. During the time he was up there, we would stop in to visit and then take rides on the Green and Red Lines on the “T” system. We visited MIT’s COOP, Fanuel Hall, the Hard Rock Cafe, and a score of other places on our daily ritual of random train rides.
On Monday night we caught a horse and buggy outside of the Hard Rock (which is right by Fanuel Hall). This was to be both Nicole’s and my first such ride. A little over a block into the trip the driver invited Kitabutt (Nicole) to come sit up front with him. What followed next was the coolest, most unbelievable part of our entire trip: he gave Kita a cursory lesson on driving and then let her control the horses for more than half of the twenty minute ride! The driver even took my video camera and hopped off onto the street to record a clip of Nicole driving the carraige on her own!
We love you Chico – the coolest horse in Boston!
